Woolly mammoths are scattered across Northern Siberia, buried in ice and preserved in near impeccable condition. Tusk hunters feeding an international trade in mammoth ivory find and extract these mammoths, and in the process provide a rich source of material with potential for cloning and reviving the legendary woolly mammoth.

This documentary from Motherboad investigates the strange supply chain and controversial science behind the quest to bring this great beast back.
