A superconductor hovers above a magnetic track...
Your eyes aren't deceiving you, this little superconductor disc really is suspended in space. In this video from the Super Conductivity Group at Tel Aviv University a disc made from superconductive material is held above a permanent magnet.
The technique relies on the superconductor being very cold which locks the magnetic field in place (a phenomenon known as quantum trapping).
