F#: Putting the Fun into Functional Programming

A functional computational language that allows programmers to solve complex problems through simple methods.

F Sharp is a new way of talking to computers allowing programmers to specify what they want to be computed rather than having to tell it specifically how to compute what they want.

This mutli-parallel language, designed at Microsoft Research, has allowed game developers to design artificial intelligence in new ways.

In this example, F Sharp has been used to design the AI for Microsoft Xbox 360 game Path of Go and create a seemingly unlimited number of move combinations.
